Vegetable Dips aims to provide a website that is usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people using assistive technologies.
Accessibility goal
The site’s ongoing target is alignment with WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably applicable. This is a goal and continuing process, not a claim that every page or third-party component is currently free of barriers.
Measures
- Use semantic headings and meaningful link text.
- Provide alternative text for informative images.
- Maintain readable contrast and scalable text.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible focus states.
- Avoid unnecessary motion and respect reduced-motion preferences where implemented.
- Review forms, menus, tables, recipe cards, and interactive tools for accessibility.
Known limitations
Legacy content, third-party embeds, automated tools, PDFs, or newly introduced components may not yet meet the target. We prioritize fixes that prevent access to core recipes, navigation, privacy choices, and contact information.
Feedback and accommodation
Report a barrier to contact@vegetabledips.com. Include the page URL, the problem, assistive technology or browser if relevant, and the preferred way to receive the information. We will make reasonable efforts to provide an accessible alternative and address verified issues.
Assessment and updates
Accessibility should be reviewed during major design changes and periodically through automated and manual checks. This statement will be updated when material accessibility practices change.
